Let's see - we missed a fall update. Fall was short anyway. Apple picking and blah blah weather.
The boys are in sixth grade and loving it...I think. They have both had a concert. Noah is playing the viola and he had an orchestra concert. Seth is playing they trumpet and he has had a band concert already. They come home every day and practice, practice, practice. They are going online to see how to play certain songs. I've heard Old Towne Road a few too many times - on the viola, trumpet, ukulele, and recorder.
Shelby and I took a trip to Kansas City for the "Packer game." We met up with our family and spent some time down by the plaza. A great time was had by all. Too bad Mahomes didn't get to play. It was still a great game that went down to the last two minutes.
We came back just in time for Halloween. Of course we reside in a miserable place to live for Halloween so it was wet and cold as usual. But the kids still have Halloween candy. Probably will for Christmas too unless we intervene.
The boys had their birthday - and we had our anniversary (Team Jenkins Day). Grandma and Grandpa brought Savannah and Declan up to help celebrate at the trampoline park. I'm so glad they were able to come up for that.
The boys are playing indoor Lacrosse this winter and played one game already. Looking forward to a few more games.
Of course, now we are getting ready for Thanksgiving. We went to Christmas parade already. End of a decade already (???).
