HAPPY 4th of JULY!
Noah is close to crawling. He has been moving backwards. He doesn't go backwards with a purpose. It's not like he sees something he wants, and turns around and heads backwards towards it. He just does it. He has also learned to sit-up from a laying down position. The other night, we layed him down in his crib, and two seconds later I watched him just push himself into a sitting position. He just looked up at us with a look that said "I'm not ready for bed yet". We won that battle(Parents-1, Baby-0). The other morning, we went in to get him and he was sitting up, peering over the rail of the crib. Stinker! We took care of that. The mattresses have been lowered to their lowest mark. Seth isn't far behind. He sat up tonight from a laying position too. He may actually beat Noah in the going forward department. Only time will tell.
I hope everybody had a great 4th of July. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at home with the kids. The weather was awesome! On Friday we actually participated in a parade with the local Mothers of Twins Club. Shelby held the banner in the front of the pack with another woman(who has triplets). Many mothers showed up and pushed their kids in strollers. I pushed the boys in our stroller and dragged the dog down the parade path with the rest of the families. The kids did great, and so did the dog. No problems at all. Even with the ambulance right behind us blaring it's siren for the ENTIRE PARADE! I hope I never meet the person driving that ambulance! It may get ugly.
Seth has been without his helmet for a couple weeks now. We had an appointment last week and the doctor was pleased with his progress. We have one more appointment with her, but we need to go back to the helmet guy and get him measured to check progress.
Noah was real congested for about a week or two and we had to intensify his breathing treatment regiment for about a week to help him shake it. He seems to be doing much better the past four days.
They are growing like weeds. We had them weighed two weeks ago and they were 19+ pounds. I don't remember exactly. Noah still weighs more than Seth.

Both kids liked the pool the second time around. It's not any different than a bath. Seth has learned to splash though. Can you believe this pool has a Warning for NO DIVING! No kidding people! (Noah-left, Seth-right)
They like Costco. Room for two babies on top! The cutest thing is that they will both turn sideways and face forward to see where we are going. It's so cute. (Noah-left, Seth-right)
Little Stinker! Go to bed!
Take care. We hope everyone is enjoying summer. Check back soon.
Chris & Shelby
