What we've been up to...

We've been busy since school started!  The boys are adjusting to their new kindergarten schedule.  They are making new friends and love their teachers.  They've both had some great days with behavior and a few not so great days.  Seth is getting more comfortable with his class, which also means he feels more comfortable being silly.  Noah has a tendency to shut off his hearing, but overall the two of them are doing really well.  Just a few quirks to work on.  They are already learning so much.  They bring homework home a couple times per week and dig right into it at home.  Now...if they could just control themselves and not tackle each other on the playground, we'd be golden.

Last weekend, Chris played baseball in the front yard with 'Gold Batman' (Noah) and 'Red Sox Spiderman' (Seth).

Seth and Noah started taekwondo about a month ago.  So far, so good!  They are the youngest in the class, but they aren't too disruptive.  They can almost count to ten in Korean and are feeling more confident to raise their hands and answer questions in class.  I took a couple of pictures before class on Tuesday.  Seth was at max silliness.

Today we surprised the boys with a trip to the circus.  They figured it out once we got there and would not stop jumping up and down.  They were so excited!  Before the start of the show, everyone was allowed down on the floor for some pre-show fun.

We let them burn off some energy in the bounce house.  The idea was to tire them out a little bit before sitting in their chairs for a while.

Noah

Seth wasn't too keen on getting his picture with the clown.  Noah is usually more brave when it comes to new things.

I was there, too!

The circus was great!  So many amazing acts.  The boys, of course, enjoyed every minute.  There were dogs, goats, trapeze artists, lions, tigers, elephants, motorcyclists, jugglers, dancers, clowns, martial arts, and so much more.

This was Seth's favorite part of the circus.  Eight motorcyclists in the steel dome!

After the circus we decided to check out a couple of exhibits that are a part of Art Prize.  There were a ton of people downtown, so we decided that we'll go back in a few days to take a better look.

Seth & Noahisms:
  • Seth doesn't think he's taking taekwondo.  He says he's in Ninja School!
  • Football season is upon us and like good Jenkins boys, Seth and Noah like watching the Packers.  They think that they have to drink Gatorade while watching football.  I'm not sure where that came from.
  • Noah wants to live in Cracker Barrel.  I asked him who would take care of him and he said 'I'll take care of myself!'
