Wisconsin Shenanigans

We continued our summer shenanigans in Wisconsin recently.

The morning after we arrived, Chris, his dad and the boys went and played golf.

One morning, Chris and I stole Savannah and Declan to get donuts and go visit Great Grandma.

Chris put a buddy system in place and whoever Savannah was a buddy with, she linked her arm in theirs.  It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

Both the kids and adults had some fun at the splash pad.

We went to a Friday night fish fry. Chris asked Savannah to get close to Noah.  It was too adorable.

Grandma was close to celebrating a birthday, so we decided to throw her a little fiesta birthday party!

There were ridiculous mustaches involved.

Then things got a little weird.

Declan decapitated the pinata.  The candy still didn't come out!

Grandma got out her giant hula hoop.  Seriously, everyone should have one of these.  It is so fun and easier than a regular hula hoop.

There was a lot of fowling that day.

Declan asked me to be on his team, I couldn't say no. We played against these two cuties...

...and won.  But we didn't gloat!  Well, maybe just a little bit.

A phone was given to one of the boys to get a picture of the grown-ups.

The selfies that came after the picture are some of my favorites.
When Noah had the phone.

Seth took a turn.

Grandma was brave and let Seth take a turn with her 'big camera'.  I'm sure there are some interesting shots from that little adventure.

So much fun was had with the family in Wisconsin.  We don't see each other nearly enough!

We decided to avoid the Chicago/Indiana traffic and took the Badger home.  Sword fights with tiny swords were fought and a lot of bingo was played.  The ship was almost at capacity, so there were a lot of people playing bingo, but that didn't stop Chris from winning two games in a row.  The second time he said bingo and got up, one man (who apparently is very into bingo) exclaimed 'You've GOT to be kidding me!'.  It was hilarious.
