Happy Easter and then some

Happy Easter

I know it's late and Easter was two weeks ago, but we have been busy so if you do not like it, too bad! You can send your complaint to the Complaint Department. It's open on Tuesdays only from 12:00pm -12:01pm. Good luck getting through.

This year was way more fun than last year. You can probably go back and look at last years Easter blog entry. We put formula in their baskets. This year, we decided to do an actual egg hunt. It was fun. The boys colored on some eggs, and we had a little plastic egg hunt inside and then in the afternoon did a real egg hunt outside. Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins came to take part in the festivities, bearing baskets and gifts. Yay! It was a lot of fun. Noah was all business and went to work collecting the eggs in his basket. He did it so quickly and had so much fun doing it that we emptied his basket several times so that he could keep doing it. Seth picked two eggs up and proceeded to carry them all over the yard. He eventually ended up in front of the garage door and banged the eggs up against it. Bye bye eggs! Noah eventually got tired of reaching down into the basket to gently place the egg inside and started throwing them into the basket without bending over. Bye bye more eggs! We started with 21 eggs total and were left with 7 that were still edible. Not bad for their first time out. That's a 33% success rate. It just leaves room for improvement next year, right?

We have a child who has picked up a bad habit. Biting! We won't name names, we will just let you figure it out by the pictures. We have taken photographic evidence that will be used against him. (Note Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B")

Today, they moved up to the big kids table. No more high chair trays. They are big kids now.

Seth and Noah are both very healthy and growing like weeds as usual. They are turning into such big boys. New words and ways to communicate are popping up all the time and we are having so much fun. I love my family! I hope and wish all of you can have the love and enjoyment in your families that we share together.

Enjoy the pictures. Happy Easter late. God Bless!

PICTURES

Easter Egg hunt gone awry. You don't bang eggs. Stop it.

My basket is almost full. Mommy and Daddy are going to empty it again so that I can do it all over.

Egg Down. 1 of 14 eggs that died on Sunday.

We went to the park on a nice day. They are really liking the slide when the bubble mower doesn't make the trip.

Exhibit "A" - Victim - Bitee

Exhibit "B" - The Accused (found guilty) - teeth marks match victims wounds.

The boys got sidewalk chalk in their baskets. I didn't realize how messy this could get.

We went to the store and let them push the cart. "What's gonna work? Teamwork!" (how many parents know what that's from?)

Here are the big boys at the big boy's table.
