Festival

Well, this blog isn't all about Festival.  I think the toughest part of completing a new blog entry is trying to come up with a title.  I digress...

This past weekend we went to the Grand Rapids Art Festival.  Around here, though, it's simply referred to as 'Festival'.  It is a fun-filled weekend full of food, art, music, and dancing.  We had a great time walking around downtown and taking in all of the sights.

Yes, I know where Seth's hands are.  This was the best picture I got.

Seth then decided to give everyone a real show.

The boys made crowns and sailboats!

Noah even checked out the inside of an ambulance.  He made a point to flirt with all of the ladies.

One of their favorite activities was having t-shirts made with the 2011 Festival screen prints.  The boys chose where on their shirts they wanted each screen print.  They were surprisingly patient.

The boys and Daddy waited patiently for Mommy to come back with some food.  There were so many options of yummy food representing many countries.  Of course, the boys ended up eating a hot dog.

We've had some pretty hot weather here lately, so we've tried to make the most of it by spending time outside in the sprinkler and with their fun outdoor toys.

Seth needs a lesson in proper water gun technique.  We also, apparently, need to bag the grass when we mow so that it doesn't end up stuck all over the boys.

Noah needs lessons, too.

The boys have been fighting us at bedtime a lot lately (we won't get into them peeing on their bedroom floor).  They come up with a million excuses to not be in bed.

We found Noah like this a couple of nights in a row.  This is outside of their bedroom door.

And...one last picture.  We have some new babies at our house...
