We rang in the New Year in Wisconsin with the family. It had been too long since we were able to spend time with Mike, Liza Savannah and Declan, so we really enjoyed it. I know there were plenty of funny stories, but this old lady needs to blog about things immediately after they happen, or she forgets the details. This is more than a couple weeks late, so.... we have pictures!
The boys were playing a game and Savannah told them that the prize for winning was the opportunity to cuddle with her and watch TV. Seth won and Noah was disappointed. It was a good prize.
We took Great Grandma to a Friday night fish fry. The folks in Wisconsin LOVE their fish fries. The place was packed and there was a wait for a table before 5:00.
We also went to see 'Sing' as a big group. I'm not sure what day it was (see comment about the old lady above). The kids now think we should only go to movies where they can sit in recliners.
We let the kids ring in the New Year a little early. We decided that it would be best for everyone's sanity if the 4 of them didn't stay up until midnight.
Declan and Brody became the best of friends.
Speaking of Declan, we knew we were going to miss his 4th birthday, so Chris and I took him to Build-A-Bear so he could build a new buddy. We may have also taken advantage of our time with him and took him a couple of other places and fed him cookies. He's such a great kid, we had so much fun with him.
So many games were played while we were there. All day, there were games going on with any number of Jenkins. Jan was gifted this interesting game where the players wore these things on their heads and people threw 'doody' to try and get them to stick Ewww.
Playing BeanBoozled with a handy, little trash can just in case you didn't get a tasty one and couldn't stomach it.
A finally....our attempt to get some pictures of the kids. They are all hams, every one of them, and I love it!
